Who I am
My name is Rachel, the passionate baker and creative mind behind Wildflour Baking Company. I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share my journey with you.
My love for baking started at a young age when I purchased my first Kitchenaid mixer at a yard sale for $40. This was a lot of money for a young kid, so I cherished this mixer and found any excuse to make tasty desserts to share with others. This early fascination with creating delicious treats grew into a lifelong passion.
To turn my passion into a profession, I pursued formal education at The Salt Lake Institute of Culinary Education, where I honed my skills and learned the art and science of baking. I successfully completed all coursework and exams to become a certified pastry chef.
Over the winters I worked at Deer Valley Ski Resort as an Assistant Pastry Chef, learning, growing, and developing my own style for baking beautiful items with delicious flavors. I believe in using the finest ingredients to create baked goods that not only taste amazing but also bring joy and comfort to those who enjoy them. I specialize in cakes, French macarons, pastry, and cookies.
